This inter-agency resource centre, developed under the aegis of the UN System Influenza Coordinator (UNSIC), aims to provide users with communication strategies, products, information, and tools developed around the globe to respond to the Pandemic Influenza (H1N1) 2009 virus, the highly pathogenic animal influenza (H5N1) virus, and to prepare for future influenza pandemics.

This resource centre has been made possible with funding from partners including the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), the UK Department fo International Development (DFID), the Government of Japan, and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

Update: We are revamping the site to make it easier for you to identify resources you need. We have separated the guidance and reference documents for pandemic influenza from that for avian influenza. The creative materials will also be re-organized. A separate section will bring together resources for general multi-hazard preparedness. Please write to c4dhq@unicef.org for any questions or comments.

Whole-of-Society Pandemic Portal - an inter-agency tool produced in collaboration with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, the United Nations System Influenza Coordinaton Office, the United Nations Children's Fund, and the  International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
